Technique: bead embroidery
Skill Level: Strong novice beader familiar with bead weaving
Instructor: Marla Salezze
Cost: $50 for both classes
Class Description: Learn how to create a bead embroidered cuff using a variety of cabochons, pearls, crystals and beads in a variety of shapes and sizes.

First class: Learn the back stitch, how to bead around your cabochons and ways to create the design for your cuff. Continue beading your cuff until we meet for the second class.
Second class: Learn embellishment stitches and finishing techniques including the picot stitch.
Please Note: A pattern will not be given for this class. You will be taught and provided with instructions on the techniques and stitches needed to make a bead embroidered cuff, but the overall design will be up to your own creativity. A recommended supply list will be provided, but feel free to bring supplies that inspire you. Each student’s cuff will be unique to their own creative aesthetic.
